What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing support for people living with disability. It’s a whole-of-life approach – a major reform of disability services in Australia, designed to provide the right support according to each person’s needs and goals.

Managed by Disability and Health Professionals and specialist offering services for over 16 years. Global Disability can provide staffing for your funded services. As part of our services we can provide staff for Community Access and social activities, In home support for daily tasks and personal activities as well as respite for your family. Global Disability aim to help you live the lifestyle you choose and provide flexible arrangements for support staff. We have staff experienced in disability support and high supports need care. We have Disability Support Workers and Youth Workers. We can support people who have epilepsy, autism, physical disability, brain injury, have PEG tube feeds, need personal care, have health care needs and other individual support needs.

Transitional Support and Provider and funds allocation

If you would like to transfer your support package then during the initial settling in period we offer flexible support staff arrangements. We can also provide support on finding the right provider for you, our NDIS Support Coordinator is able to assist in your planning and finding the right provider that suits your goals and needs.
