Live Independently with the Right Support

At Global Disability, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live as independently as possible while feeling safe, supported and empowered. Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services provide personalised, around-the-clock assistance that helps NDIS participants build confidence, develop life skills and enjoy greater independence in a home environment.

Whether you need support with everyday activities, personal care, household tasks or developing independent living skills, our experienced team works alongside you to create a support plan that reflects your goals, preferences and lifestyle.

Our focus is on providing high-quality, person-centred support that encourages choice, dignity and long-term independence.

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS-funded support designed for participants who require regular assistance to live as independently as possible. SIL funding is generally intended for people with higher support needs who require help throughout the day, overnight or on a 24/7 basis.

SIL is not simply about where you live—it’s about the support you receive in your home. Whether you live with other participants or in another suitable living arrangement, SIL helps you build the skills and confidence needed to manage daily life while maintaining as much independence as possible.

At Global Disability, we tailor every SIL arrangement to the individual’s goals, support requirements and preferences.
