Some NDIS participants require specialised support to safely manage complex health conditions and daily living activities. At Global Disability, our High Intensity Disability Supports are delivered by experienced, appropriately trained staff who understand the unique needs of participants requiring advanced levels of care.
We work closely with participants, families, support coordinators, nurses, allied health professionals and medical practitioners to deliver safe, personalised support that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life.
Whether support is provided at home, in Supported Independent Living (SIL), within the community or another setting, our focus remains the same—helping participants live as independently and confidently as possible while receiving the specialised care they need.
High Intensity Supports are specialised NDIS-funded supports for participants who require assistance with complex daily care because of significant health or disability-related needs.
These supports involve tasks that require additional training, competency assessment and ongoing supervision to ensure they are delivered safely and in accordance with the participant’s individual support plan and clinical requirements.
At Global Disability, we are committed to providing high-quality support that aligns with NDIS Practice Standards and recognised clinical best practice.
